In Queensland a forklift licence (class LF) is a high risk work licence issued by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. Train with an RTO, pass assessment with an accredited assessor, then apply online within 60 days. The licence is valid for 5 years and is renewed online through HRW Licence Online Services.

How do I get a forklift licence in QLD?

Can I renew an expired forklift licence in QLD?

Can I get a QLD forklift licence if I live interstate?

Only if you are trained and assessed by a Queensland-based RTO and assessor.

Can I use an interstate forklift licence in QLD?

Yes, if it is a current photographic high risk work licence. Old licences without a photo are not valid. WHSQ can renew an interstate licence that expires within 3 months or has not been expired for more than 12 months.
