How we check facts

• Facts such as prices, licence rules, pay rates and event dates come from a named public source, usually a regulator, government agency, award, training provider or the company itself. We link to that source next to the fact.
• Each sourced fact shows the date we last checked it.
• We do not estimate prices, pay rates or statistics. If we cannot find a published source, we leave the figure out and say so.
• Rules differ between states and change over time. Always confirm with the regulator or provider before you book or apply.

Independence and money

Corrections

We recheck pages against their sources and update the checked date when we do. When a source changes, the page changes with it. If a fact on a page no longer matches its linked source, the source is the one to trust.
