At the time of the report Anglo American held 51% and Mitsui Holdings 49%, and Anglo American operated the mine. It produces coking, soft coking and thermal coal, railed to Gladstone. The report gives around 1,300 employees and contractors and an estimated remaining mine life of 18 years. The mine is approximately 12 km east of Moura and 180 km west of Gladstone. Ownership may have changed since the report period.
