Koolan Island is an iron ore site in the Buccaneer Archipelago, about 140 km north of Derby in Western Australia.

Mining in the Main Pit was suspended in October 2025 after a rockfall, and the final shipment left in late July 2026. MGX agreed in June 2026 to sell the island to Crestlink Koolan, subject to conditions.
